Over the last year, our firmware engineers have conducted extensive testing of different configured HPC50 series calibrators to provide a more detailed explanation of battery life.
When launched, we specified the battery life as >12 hours, as our initial testing indicated this was the worst-case scenario. With recently collected data, we now have further clarity on the actual difference between a stand-alone HPC50 and one with external modules connected. We are happy to announce that the new battery specifications are as follows:
35 hours - HPC50 Series (HPC51 or HPC52)
25 hours - HPC50 with one external module (pressure or temperature)
12 hours - HPC50 with two external modules
